The long Michael Ricketts saga has come to an end with the news that he is to sign for Bolton today. Although neither club have revealed the fee, an “inside source” claims it involves an initial payment of £250,000, with a similar amount due after 20 appearances. With any luck the Bescot directors will also have insisted on a sell-on clause as well.
