Rammell joins Wycombe

Walsall legend Andy Rammell has joined Wycombe in a £50,000 deal. The veteran striker whose 20 goals were a major factor in our promotion season 2 years ago was given permission to look for another club last month.

Walsall’s great start to the season, with goals flying in from Byfield, Leitao and Angell, meant Rambo didn’t stand much chance of a starting place. Keen for first team football, both parties agreed it was best for him to move on.

A big thanks from all Saddlers fans to Andy, and best wishes for the future. He is believed to be going straight into the Wycombe squad who play in front of the Sky cameras on Friday night.
