Forest 2 Walsall 3

Forty eight hours is a long time in football, and the despair of Saturday evening has been replaced by light traces of hope around Bescot this week, thanks to Walsall’s second away win of the season at Forest on Easter Monday. Fans reaction:
Pico - Been to the game today, and as usual at Forest gave great vocal support to spur the team on to one of our best away displays for a while. We scored three superb goals and could have had a few more, as we soaked up Forest pressure and broke forward dangerously in the second half. Everyone played well today. I chose Corica just ahead of Roper for MOTM. Goodman may have lost a lot of pace but his aerial and hold up play is excellent and he has returned from injury at just the right time, as he gives us that little bit extra.
Shifnal Saddler - What have we been saying all season? “Why don’t we shoot?” and “Someone have a go!” and today we get three goals from outside the area, or the edge. Hopefully this policy will be continued for the rest of the season.
Fish - It wasn’t just that we won today, it was the way we won. Some of the football was outstanding, there were times that we ran Forest ragged. Some great performances, Simpson for me was MOM.
