Walsall have snapped up young midfielder Keith Andrews on loan from Wolves until the end of the season. The 23 year old - who enjoyed a spell on loan at Stoke earlier this season - will be in the squad to face basement boys Wimbledon tomorrow.
The club also hope to complete the permanent transfer of another player on Monday. Colin Lee is still waiting to hear from Craig Burley and has today admitted his interest in Jody Morris. Morris’ turbulent career has been blighted with controversy. At Chelsea he was involved in a high profile court case alongside John Terry. Then, at Leeds he was questioned by police relating to claims of sexual assault. It seems however, that Morris would be well out of our financial league. Lee said: “No-one will deny that either Jody Morris or Craig Burley would improve our midfield. But we can’t compete with some other clubs in terms of finance.”
