Former Man United, Chelsea and Villa keeper Mark Bosnich has again been linked with a move to Bescot. The 32 year old Australian, who was sacked by Chelsea after failing a drugs test two years ago, was approached by Paul Merson back in the summer. However, following Walsall’s recent keep troubles, Merson has again asked Bosnich to train with the Saddlers.

“Paul has spoken to my agent and said I can train with them,” Bosnich told The Sun. “It’s something I’m thinking about because I’m ready to return to the game.

“Previously I did not want to play a game. But now I have got the hunger back. I have been clean for two months but I know you can always slip up. I have changed and need a focus to make sure I never slip up again. Football will give me that.”

Meanwhile, midfielder Kris Taylor, 20, has completed a one month loan move to Burton Albion. “The Conference is a tough league and will do the lad good.” said Merson.
