South African striker Toni Nhleko is set to join Walsall in January according to his agents’ website.

A report on the website of ProPlayer Management states that the Dallas Burn forward, capped nine times by his counntry, will sign at Bescot next month, subject to the player gaining a work permit.

“I really look forward to this.” said Nhleko “I have always dreamed of playing in England and this is the perfect stepping stone for me”.

Nhleko has previously played UEFA Cup football for SK Brann in Norway as well as representing South Africa in the Olympics and the African Nations Cup.
