Taiwo Atieno is about to play his last game of his loan period for Rochdale this weekend.
The Lancashire club have said they do not wish to look at a permanent deal.

Paul Merson has said that the club is still interested in bringing South African International striker Toni Nhleko to the club but the move is still being held up by red tape and we still have lawyers working on the problem in South Africa.

He also says that Icelandic International defender Atli Thorarinsson will not be joining, as he wanted too much money.

Meanwhile, on the injury front, as we reported yesterday, Ian Roper has had a set back and will not be available for either of the next two games and he has been joined in the treament room by Matt Fryatt, who will definately miss the Tranmere game.
