Gerrard A Free Agent
Anthony Gerrard has been given a free transfer by Everton.
One possible obstacle to Walsall signing Anthony Gerrard, following his successful loan spell with the club has been removed. Everton have given him a free transfer, rather than offering a contract, which would have meant the Merseysiders being entitled to a fee.
It now remains to be seen which clubs will be in competition with the Saddlers for his services. with both Tranmere and Stoke rumoured to be interested.
