It seems that Matty Fryatt was narrowly beaten to the September “Player of the Month” award for Division One.

Matty was shortlisted for the award, which was dominated by strikers, along with the likes of Wayne Alison. The award, however, went to Swansea’s Lee Trundle in the end.
