Walsall have signed Nottingham Forest reserve right winger Kevin James on loan until the end of the season.

James, 26, has figured just once for Forest this season since being transfer-listed by manager Gary Megson during the summer.

Paul Merson has given the former Gillingham player (18 starts) the chance of first-team football with a spell at Bescot Stadium. He has also has a loan spell at Boston twelve months ago.

James is set to make his debut against Barnsley in the FA Cup on Saturday.
