Swansea vs Walsall 90 Minutes

Walsall started the second hlaf at a much higher pace, not for the first time lately. The midfield soon had a grip on the game and the Saddlers started to dominate.

Eventually, we managed to work Nicholls in, who took his chance with great aplomb, to show yet again the promise we all know is there.

It was now a scintillating game again, but Walsall seemed to thrown any chance away, as they let Swansea take the lead again, with, yet again, not the best piece of defending.

It looked like any chance of Cardiff was well and truely over, but back came the Saddlers again and Constable, on as sub for Demontagnac, turned his man superbly to slot home.

With extra time beckoning, Gerrard gave away a free kick just outside the penalty area, but the free kick just ruffled the side netting.

Walsall had been the better side in the second half and the only downside was the inability to work the goalkeeper.

The final report may well have to wait until tomorrow morning, with extra time about to start!
