Has to go tonight if we want any chance of salvaging something from the season. Absolutely embarrassing.
Only positive thing from today is I was able to bring my 15 month old to his first game. Poor kid…

I can tag the usual ones mate ? See if it’s changed but we are “still in with a chance”
If Matt Sadler does not resign that tells you all you need to know about what type of man he is.
Even with our shocking run since January, we get 3 “easy” games to seal promotion and we could not even score in 2 of them. An absolute shambles. The worst I have ever felt supporting Walsall and am already cacking myself about what horrors next season will bring.
It is incredulous that after the Bradford result this morning we could not even score against Accrington - let alone win.
Results went our way a few weeks ago with the morning kick offs and then we played Barrow without a shot on goal. The guy has lost the dressing room.
UP THE SADDLERS
Quote the rest of it please … and with context
Or don’t quote at all
Gutted it’s fell to bits
Look forward to the play offs
Maybe with a new gaffer
Even going further back, not beating Gillingham home or away when they were in horrendous form themselves. Being 1-0 up early at Carlisle when they were miles adrift and just about clinging on for a 1-1.
1-0 up at home to Grimsby after five minutes and losing that comfortably. Probably at least another game I’ve forgotten in this wretched spell.
I’ve lost count of the opportunities we’ve not been able to take.
MS will be with us until half way into next season at very least we all know it
Nothing else to quote.
You’ve said you’re happy that we lost. Pathetic.
Just looked at that table above
16 points in 20 games
I could live with it if we’d gone up, but if we don’t (which we won’t), then it’s unforgivable.
I feel so sorry for @Blazing_Saddler’s kids and all the other fans’ kids tonight.
Even the biggest Sadler lovers can’t defend this.
He won’t, unless we go up (which we won’t)
I’m not sure what words to use here. Surprisingly i dont feel anger but i feel drained. Empty. What was that we all watched? There was effort but we were powder puff.
Probably the easiest opposition we’ve played in months to beat and we stuff it up.
The support and numbers turning up has been terrific yet again. We had it in our hands to be celebrating like Donny now are, many many games ago and we’ve blown it.
I’ll be at Crewe but this utter capitulation is going to take a long time to get over.
I fear for us next season in whatever league we end up in. The hangover from this is going to take a while to get over. Should we go up it feels like we need 22 new players again and will be getting thumped every week. Should we stay here surely we have to be favourites for relegation, we’ll need 22 new players then too.
It’s been cack being a Walsall fan for over a decade, but nothing as embarrassing and soul destroying as this has been since Xmas.
Worst aspect of this for me, even more than throwing away the Golden Goose of all Golden Gooses in terms of promotion is how many players will commit to next season, given the mismanagement they’ve endured, the footballing disaster they’ve been part of and the hostility they are going to experience from fans.
I’d take 16th now, our rightful home
I’ll answer that mate…the deluded. He went into a game we needed to win with oisin mccentee ( whose a CH)in midfield. Mental management. He needs binning off
This is going to affect the club for the next few seasons. Never wanted Sadler and he’s done nothing to convince me he’s a football manager.
I haven’t got the strength anymore absolutely no joy from watching Walsall anymore
Back on the game the lack of quality from certain players again was really frustrating. Jellis just can’t get anything right.
Levi struggles to control a ball. He’s 24. One for the future my arse.
