Accrington Stanley (H) 26th April, 3pm

When the team was announced I thought it’s just what I was dreading.
Asiimwe gave it a go but he needs to release the ball earlier, the rest of the team although they showed commitment looked hopelessly out of sorts.
I didn’t join in the booing but Sadlers days are surely numbered after yet another missed opportunity.
After 67 years of watching Walsall I’m struggling to remember a worse more embarrassing moment than how it feels right now.

Playing with energy
Like jon whitney me thinks.
He’s got no idea how to change the narrative.
Get rid

They will do a deal and he will go by mutual consent, most likely after we get knocked out of the playoffs

I listened to 15 seconds but the sound of his voice just goes right through me. The interviewer is an absolute tool as well , never asks a tough question

Thought big Dave played well today.. not a pass out of place and no one beat him in the air.

Taylor Allen did well, shame his corner didn’t go in.

Some good saves from Stirk,

Guess that’s it though. Hope we can keep hold of a few players next season and wonder if we can attract a decent manager like Leam Richardson.

Why can’t he just say we were shite and didn’t deserve anything did their gk have a shot to save second half🤫

First time I have left a Walsall game with a few minutes left when we are trailing by one goal but the thought of getting an earlier connection at New St was just too tempting
What a thoroughly dispiriting experience.
Can’t see Bradford slipping up at home to Fleetwood.
Other clubs will hope to play us in the playoffs. Perhaps we should be taken to the vets and put out of our misery.

Nothing much you can say about that bollocks … Graham Alexander must be wetting himself tonight … Sadler SHOULD be sacked but definitely won’t be and as he has a nice improved and extended contract he won’t be walking away. He knows he is “damaged goods” who no other club would touch after the worst ever capitulation in EFL history so he will cling on until about December 25 when he has f****d it up again. A few of the players have shown their true colours of late with reactions to fans taunting … Dave had his turn today… he has been shocking since the day he conned us into giving the Potters reject a contract so he can f**k right off for me and take Jellis with him. Massive re-build needed and there is no way that Sadler should be allowed to recruit as he hasn’t got a clue… I cannot face the playoffs so think I am going to book an impromptu break and get away from it as this  has broken me

So the big plan is to wait for the rub of the green to return.

Yeah that’ll work. Forget things like playing goalscorers.

Not really but I counted two shots on target.

Anyone know about the bloke scrapping with stewards in the Pallet stand?

The past 6-8 or so games have reeked of desperation. He’s chopped and changed trying to find a solution, even though the team was screaming out for changes way before then.

This season has provided so many positive moments, but the past 3 months will sadly outweigh all of that as we will start next season in L2.

He was trying to leave early but the stewards said he’d got to endure it like the rest of us.

He clapped all the fans, the thing your on about was aimed at a specific fan by the goal.. he was screaming at him with specific verbal abuse, he pointed at that specific fan and did a shush .. it’s not that deep and honestly what do you expect.

I said to my old man as we were leaving today at least next season we can go back to having some room with no one next to us

Pomlett tried to walk through me with his ‘security’ just :joy:

Walk round me mate. I ain’t moving.

Also a rumour that Sadler has left his car on the car park and caught a taxi out of here

How tf has this happened!? Only us.

I feel it’s going to take a long, long time to recover from this, if ever. I think it’ll be a relegation battle next season unfortunately.

Just had an email from the club thanking me for my support and would I mind filling in a feedback survey.

Probably not the right time to fill that in :joy:
