He’d rather we lost as long as Stirk doesn’t play. Never mind playing Adomah and Matt up front.
Joke, and you put it so well, he stole our dream. The kids are in bits, this was meant to be their time.

I didn’t boo made my feelings clear on another thread.
Ah, yes, game 45. What a performance. Accrington Stanley, the footballing juggernaut that is simply impossible to beat, right? The way they came to our place and strolled away with a 1-0 victory was truly inspirational. I mean, if that’s not the sign of a club that’s absolutely on the brink of something monumental, I don’t know what is.
Two wins in 20? That’s just a minor technicality, really. Who needs consistency when you can just keep everyone on the edge of their seats for 90 minutes, watching a slow, dramatic implosion of a football team? It’s almost like we’re in a movie where the hero (us, of course) is constantly on the verge of greatness, but just can’t quite pull it off. Beautiful, really. The suspense, the excitement, the… sheer inevitability of it all.
I’m sure some of you are thinking, “But @CompletelySaddled , what about that winless run? 14 games? Are you serious?” And to that, I say, yes. This is a classic case of building a team for the future. What’s that about ‘instant results’? Pfft, what a concept. We’re playing the long game, people. As I’ve said before, a football team doesn’t just materialize overnight. It’s all part of the process, and what a process it is.
Accrington played wonderfully, sure, but did they really beat us, or did we just graciously allow them to win so we could add a little more drama to the end of the season?
Now, I’ve heard some grumblings about the long ball tactics, the complete lack of attacking intent, and the fact that we’re essentially begging for a bit of possession, but let’s not get bogged down by the small stuff. Football, at its core, is about character, and what better character builder than watching a team grind their way to failure with all the enthusiasm of a child finishing their homework on a Sunday evening?
So, I’m sitting here, quietly confident that everything is coming together. We might be 4th in the table after 45 games, but I’m sure Sadler’s grand plan will make sense to all of us eventually. It’s like a complicated puzzle, where the pieces are scattered all over the floor, and we’re just patiently waiting for the moment everything clicks into place. It will come.
Anyway, I’ll be here, as always, patiently waiting for the miracle. Keep the faith, my fellow Saddlers. There’s still time for this project to bear fruit. Or something like that.
Sadler in!
He thought we played well.
I think he might be a bit mad.
The last question was like him interviewing himself, pitiful.
Nothing. We’ve already lost it. Bradford won’t fook up against Fleetwood, and even if they do, we won’t take advantage.
The bollocks up of all bollocks ups.
Who’s going to the play offs?
All yanks care bout is money and so it’s proving so I think they will only care if the fans don’t turn up to the play offs
I say boycott the play offs and let trivela know the fans care more than the management team who obviously don’t give a dam
Any point going to Crewe? Possibly not actually.
Is that a wind up:joy:
It’ll be the same as the last 20 games, all huff and powder puff.
Heard the WM interview on the way home, was probably more depressing listening to that one than this.
Anyone know how to access it?
Was on at half time in the FA cup game so will have to wait until it’s uploaded.
That’s pathetic, I’d of had a go at removing him myself.. is there not a police unit at the stadium? Piece of sh*t.
If it’s true that Sadlers left in a taxi it’s probably cus his going to the pub to celebrate his contract with trivela and Ben sadler
He doesn’t care about Walsall fc and obviously the rest of management don’t either
Exactly the right question! Why is he playing Matt and Harrison above DJ and Wheatley? DJ is a natural goalscorer and is being totally mismanaged by Sadler and Wheatley scored two good goals for Man U U21s on Friday! It’s time to change things around, Mat, you are killing our club! So much for the easy run in!!
It was never going to be an easy run in, when you are the worst team in the division, which we are, that is a fact.
This was allowed to go on for too long. Action should have been taken no later than after the Barrow loss, but it could have been earlier. It was obvious what was happening.
Waste of time and money!! Spend the travel money on taking your kids out for the day!!
You have been very negative on here, but credit where credit’s due…you are bang on!
Home form was key for so long, we had the best home record in the league for a long time. Remember saying after the Chesterfield win that it would be the reason we get over the line.
Last 6 home games, 2 points, 6 goals.
Shocking.
