Adomah could certainly have something to offer at our level for a year, maybe 2 if he continues to look after himself but we have been here before with players at the end of their careers and those niggles and knocks take just that bit longer to come back from.

I think Danny Waldron is on the bench… Bit more or a beard then the photo above
It’s a bit like Stephen Ward isn’t it? Was a regular in championship/league 1 for Ipswich but was completely done here seemingly and could see that within the first month of the season.
Adomah been a really good pro throughout his career going from non league to prem. Was still featuring for QPR last season but more as late sub so probably optimistic to think he can come in and be a starter but experienced squad player on 12 month deal might not be the worst shout.

He signed an 18 month deal at Southend so has that been rescinded with their ongoing financial issues?

It is very much like Stephen Ward and that’s the player I was thinking of when I posted.I personally think we are already going to need that bit of luck on the injury front anyway as will all the sides in the league, but I’d rather anyone that does pick up an injury be able to return as quickly as possible and unfortunately the older you get the longer things take to heal.If we do give him a 12 month contract it’ll go one of two ways, he’ll be awesome or he’ll hardly play through consistently carrying knocks.Don’t get me wrong I get the thought process regarding him by the club but it’s a risk.
