Good pod, Gerrard seems like a ‘character’ and I like his honesty, especially relating to his own performance/standards.

Just listening, he thought Paul Jewell managed Walsall?! 
TBF Hutchings did follow him all over the place as a number 2.
There were rumours of similar behaviour from Whitney when he was manager and a bust up with Jim O’connor over it looks like there was some truth in that then judging by Anthony’s comments about him.

Yeah, JO’c said something about being promised a new contract, coaching role etc Then Whitney went completely back on his word and got rid as he saw him as a threat to his job. I had been told things about Whitney that did not match his public persona by other people at the club as well !

You have to consider the source. Ant Gerrard doesn’t seem a saint, even by his own words from both these pods.
Great pods, but he sounds like the kind of bloke it would be an absolute nightmare to be around for more than half an hour.
“we all got naked out on the pitch and I kicked through a kiosk window, it was hilarious!” … yeah alright mate.
