Trivela did make a statement that said “whatever happens we will come out of January at least as strong/or stronger than when we went in”. That was rubbish. I did however remember posting on UTS that I didn’t think it mattered about losing Lowe because we were making so many chances that we could put anyone up front and we would score. I just can’t believe how we have dropped off since January. It doesn’t help with Sadler being in denial and just brushing it off and kept picking his favourites time after time.

This season without Lowe based on form without Lowe we would be bottom
That just shifts unrealistic expectations. Almost like a club official talking after selling all those early birds.

I think young players need an old head and a little bit more of the discipline side of it! This cool calm collective approach ain’t working. The players might love sadler but definitely don’t respect him or fear him
The problem isn’t the January signings it’s the Managers inability to play them..

I think Amantchi and Harrison have done slightly better than expectations, but not enough to make a significant difference. The big let-down has been Wheatley, who, from what I remember was described by Sadler as a target all along. He certainly let us have the impression he would be Lowe’s replacement .
Persisting with Matt has been a problem. The bloke has done well for us but he has been struggling for ages now and our whole game seems to be about him wrestling, supposedly for the ball. I’m not blaming him but we should have seen something different after so many poor results.

Yes, the club was drooling over Wheatley when he signed - describing him as a “teenage sensation”.
Turns out it has been a terrible piece of business.

The exact same thing happened last season. He had a good run of games but then became detrimental to us when he kept being picked despite being unfit/playing poorly.

And there lies the big problem: we just don’t create anything! No quality, no fight, no thought as to how we might score: we are a non-league team at the moment!!

Exactly!! I mean look at Bradford’s style of play whilst cook was upfront hoof hoof hoof it up to cook but now he’s injured they are a different kettle of fish..so yeah definitely drop Matt
I think that’s as much about style of play and not having a consistent strike partner.
Harrison showed some promise and Levi could lead the strike line next season but not with this style of play.
It’s the manager and not being intelligent enough to change the style of play..
Picking players to suit a system rather than a system to suit players.

The first goal was a shocker. Liam Gordon doing his usual no show when a cross needs blocked. Then 1 Barrow forward gets between 2 Walsall defenders to score. Then when Simkin saves he follows up. It was a total disgrace.
I do not know if man for man Barrow players are better than ours but they are certainly better coached then ours. Just in simple things like passing, making yourself available, winning headers, being first to a loose ball etc and overall shape. Our long ball is useless and embarrassing - where has it come from and why do they think it is the correct way to play football?
Total rubbish from start to finish. A disgrace.
