The couple of weeks before Christmas are always lower attendance due to either shopping or money being tight.
More confident than in previous years when playing barrow.
Never going to be bumper gate this side of Xmas and with little away support. So anything close or above 5 k would be decent.

It’s true that we’ve not found Barrow an easy opponent of late but I’ve yet to see a league two team this season better than the saddlers.
I bet their fans aren’t expecting much from the game.

Setting off soon. As @Belgiansaddler knows I rarely go straight from A to B.
Looking forward to today. Another game where we need to be right at it. Another Bromley or Fleetwood (shudder) in the making if we’re not.

Hoping for a win, as there is a strong potential that the chasing teams could all be involved in drawn games today.
It’s a shame barrow ain’t going to bring many fans probably a bit like Fleetwood as I think the saddlers play better with atmosphere I got a feeling they’ll be singing the same song over and over again. Hopefully we can make some noise

I think they will be competing for a top 3 spot come the end of the season. They reminded me of the Wimbledon team of the 80s, not attractive but very effective.

Fair enough, personally I’d see them maybe like us last year, i.e. threaten the playoffs but ultimately fail to reach them. Get the Wimbledon comparison though. Think Barrow may be a little like that as well so means we will have to be on it today.
If this seems an easy win come 5pm it won’t have been, it will be because we have applies ourselves right.

Bit of a personal rivalry with these bastards. Would love nothing more than to beat them but we just never seem able to.
I don’t get the negativity from some fans about this game. After just 18 games we’re a mossive 14 pts ahead of them. They haven’t won in 6 games whilst we’re on a roll. I’m lumping on a 4-2 win with Nathan scoring twice.

I would love for us to win by more than one clear goal. Those comfortable wins from earlier in the season have evaporated, that said we’ve been winning. Time to push on.
I’m away at the end of the season so can’t make some play off fixtures, so I’d like this to be settled by Easter.
