Probably worse than Salford At least Salford have got the money to splash about
It’s a good away trip at least, still crossing my fingers for mid March but probably unlikely as the weeks pass like anything else vaguely exciting in last 10 months.
Depends what team turns up and how much clarke tinkers but I’d happily take a draw.

Imagine this from Clarke
My first couple of visits to this ground we lost 4-3. Maybe it’s time we got the edge in a seven goal thriller. 4-3 to Walsall, two each from Eli and The General.
I like it. Can have a session in Manchester in the Northern quarter and then 15 minute ride to Horwich Parkway which is same distance to away end as Bescot station.
Of course the time I went the station was closed due to works so had to get a bus from Bolton town centre. Was about half 2 at this point and Bolton fan next to me in the queue was saying nothing happened in their home games until second half, most of them had been 0-0 at HT apparently that season.
Take my seat just as Oztumer is hitting another one in from 40 yards…all downhill afterwards though.
Will probably bus it into Horwich from Wigan next time away fans will be allowed to go back up there.
Another tough game on the schedule.
Besides Cheltenham, we’ve played pretty well against fancied teams this season, I don’t see why we can’t do the same tomorrow.
We shouldn’t fear anyone in this league. The only team we’ve faced so far that I thought is really good was Cambridge, everyone else, nothing to fear at all.
If we play like we did last weekend, Bolton will be in trouble.
We owe them an 8-1 drubbing, be nice if we could have a convincing win though.
Oh the pain of that defeat. It was a year before I moved to Manchester so I didn’t know any Bolton fans. I know a couple now and even now they remind me about it.
yep, Bolton have made a habit of signing players and then getting the begging bowl out.
3-0 win and Bolton can’t get the ball off us for 70 minutes of the game.
Confident that we will win this 2-1 or 3-1
Nay bother
Notlob - that well known palindrome!
They’re away and got tonked last week so expecting them to be doubly defensive - and we struggle to break sides down that play like that, and have a glass jaw if they break out of our attempted full-court press - unless DC has put all that into his project plan and has identified a way to win it.
We did play very well last week so I’m hoping we can keep it up, and Flash being back gives us more options. All in all, 2-1 to us (we just can’t keep a clean sheet).
I hate playing a team that’s just been battered and fear the worst.
Get the same feeling . A team thumped at home last week may well have been looking at there defensive shape all this week . But more worryingly they do have strikers who will be Capable and eager to take advantage of any mistakes that we do tend to make . Tough game to call this one.
Part of the problem is we don’t know what walsall team is going to turn up, on our day we can beat anyone in this league and on the flip side we could easily get beat by any team.
I suspect that adding this to my BTTS bet won’t disappoint.
As for who will score more than the other would be a complete guess.
Which is what I’ll have a go at now.
2-2 to us. Holden and Ade to score for us. Scarr and a pen for them.
Put it on my goals galore no draw bet bit risky as we like a draw but gave it a bash anyway.
To pay or not to pay is the question?
Pay!
Don’t blame me if it is rubbish though.
3 nil win.
