Driving past the Lamex today and spotted Stevenage v Bolton on Tuesday. So will that give us any advantage on Saturday as we don’t have a midweek game?
Connor Wilkinson, Paul Ritchie and Ray Train also played for both. And Hayden White I think.
I don’t share the optimism of most on here.
After a mediocre start, Bolton have won 5, drawn 1 and lost 1 of their last 7 league games.
Their only defeat in that run was away at Birmingham.
If they pick their best side as @Killer78 suggested they will do in his post above, then I think they will be firm favourites.
I expect them to finish in the top 7 in L1, this is a good team with a decent squad and budget.
0-2 to Bolton.
EDIT. Surprised nobody has mentioned that Oztumer is a former BWFC player.
Here you are.
Daft question, but since they altered the website, i cant ever book my ST seat for non league games… any one else have this?
Mine was reserved by the computer, but you had to purchase by last Friday 25th then it went on general sale.
You also need to make sure you’re signed into the ticket website.
The main site and the ticket site are actually separate websites.
Just had a look and still seems dead slow.
Affordable football. Your kids and parents less than a pint, little ‘uns a quid and only a tenner for adults. My dad got four tickets for twenty one quid (a pensioner, an adult, a junior and a child). Unbelievable value.
We’ve actually got an incredible home record against Bolton, winning 8, drawing 3 and losing just one. That one being the League Cup loss in the L2 title winning season. The only thing I can conclude from this is that, if we lose, we’re going to win the league.
I agree, great value, considering normal prices. Just tried to call and get two for me and my bro, but no answer so will try again a bit later.
Certainly looks a bit slow, as you say, but I wonder if the fact we have 3 home games in a row after it has had an impact, as well as the fact it is the end of half term and some people may be away next weekend. I definitely think that if we’d had a nicer draw, then it would attract more people, despite what they have done with the prices.
3:2 Walsall win with Earing scoring in the 97th minute. Scenes in the lower tier, the Locker rocking out the tunes till 0000 and a massive influx of Ubers taking the remaining Saddlers back home
Sounds good to me!
Tickets all booked and sent, easy peasy! Looking forward to it now!
UTS!
Got 4 for £17.00 last week ~ Adult, 2 x Children and Old Codger (me) ~ can’t complain at that for live FA Cup football.
Great ticket prices, got 2. There seems to be no interest in this match whatsoever. I think the club will abandon cheap tickets if this continues. Could be sub 6000 unless Bolton sell a couple of thousand
We played Sunderland in 2018 and had a dreadful attendance, 3,140. Maybe floating fans aren’t tempted by cup ties.
I remember the time when gates went up for cup ties. They now decrease. The greed league and others have devalued the competition. Occasionally you will get a plum draw but it is exceedingly rare.
With Premier League sides almost always fielding weakened sides nowadays against lower league opponents some of the magic has gone.
I’m sure if we ended up getting another tie away at Old Trafford we would suddenly have a great demand for tickets.
If we got Man United at home, you would have Walsall fans who go regular struggling to get tickets.
I was at that 8-1 kicking - they weren’t that much better than us, just that every shot went in !
