Indeed. Per every other early cup round where often the upper big end and sometimes the lower big end are also closed.
The good thing about this one is that it gives scope for Bolton fans to occupy as many seats as they need. At the moment they have just behind the goal and a bit round the side per the new guidelines on the away disabled section being part of the away end and not separate.
They do sometimes not open the middle/upper and family stands (and on occasion the lower and away end too) when the expected crowd is lower than usual, but we appear to be expecting at least 5-6000 and they aren’t saying it is completely closed just not available to home fans. That side has been populated by both home and away fans a few times already this season so no other reason to not let the usual occupants sit there except that they will be letting Bolton fans have it (or most of it at least). No announcement yet but I expect the yellow zone users will be asked to park elsewhere too.
Bought tickets in the pallet track stand went for digital ones how do you use them never done it before
Download it onto google wallet from your email and just let them scan it on your way in. Unless you have an Iphone, which you do the same but whatever Iphone use instead of google wallet, I have no idea cos I’ve never used one.
In the email there’ll be 2 links.
You just choose whichever is relevant for your phone and it then automatically adds it to your wallet.
The Cannock direct trains have now been loaded onto the timetable: 13:33 and 14:33. That last one cuts it a bit fine if you want a drink and to soak up the atmosphere!
Coming back the direct trains are at 17:02 and 17:32. No good if there’s extra time and pens which I think the Greedy League has forced on us.
Cheers Fish, thats really helpful!
Bloody Prem clubs and their extra time…
Thanks chaps bit of a Dinosaur aye i
Thanks mate that’s a bit better
I hadn’t got a clue when it first started, and I still use the card for my ST rather than download it. It’s pretty simple once you have done it once though.
Update from Ben Sadler looking at 6k+ now as sold in excess of 5k inc Bolton fans
The cheaper ticket strategy certainly appears to have worked in comparison to R1 (and R2) attendances in recent years. Food for thought for the club.
I’m guessing you could open / download the pdf of the ticket(s) from the email as well and they could be scanned in much the same way. It may be easier for some that aren’t familiar with google / apple wallet and haven’t downloaded the app.
That’s how I as a near Luddite do it.
And print it off because you don’t trust all this technochip micrology?
Its the future ! Not having to carry around a wallet improves my life. If you lose ya phone your buggered though
It’s what I do too!!
My phone packed in one game last season, I just popped to the ticket office and they gave me tickets no problem.
I always carry a wallet though, and cash, the old git in me hates the fact I have to use a card.
