Bradford City (A) Jan 25th, 12.30pm

We didn’t grind it out at the start, we had to weather the storm and we just didn’t!

We missed tackles and headers and allowed them to get on top.

Hopefully it’s a one off.

The only saving grace is that after every setback we’ve had this season the team has responded well, this is the most important thing.

Taylor Allen has had a good second half as a no 8 . He’s got composure on the ball which we don’t have enough of at times

He has been more effective than Lakin, his pass created the penalty.

Nailed it mate. Big few days for trivela pal :+1:

Yep, spot on, we also couldn’t keep it to just 1-0 going in at half-time. We were just as bad at Notts, but 2-0 was always going to be too much of an ask today with how up for it they have been.

Yeah totally. Bradford are a much quicker and physically stronger side than us today.

Fingers crossed it’s not a template of how to beat us. Alexander got the better of Sadler today.

Missed Jellis. He injured or having a medical for another team?!

Hopefully Jammas injury isn’t too bad, Wheatley and Gordon would be interesting Tuesday, not a fan of Albert up top

AFC have dropped a couple of points at Franchise, so a small silver lining.

Consolation - only a point for Wimbledon

Guess we’ll find out soon enough mate

Losing Jellis and Matt was just too much to simply carry on as before. Having two of our top performers missing was always going to be difficult - add in a determined opposition plus far too many poor performances from our team, and the result was inevitable.

One major positive - less danger now of any of our key players being transferred (except Jellis).

We looked panicked all game tbf!! heading the ball when we have time to actually make a pass. The amount of times I shouted chill!!

Bradford were on it and did a job on us, even if DJ had put the peno away I doubt it would have changed much. 9 wins in row comes to an end but what an incredible run that was. Unlucky lads, just came unstuck. we go again, still love this team.

can’t believe we used to feel like this every saturday and still turn up every week

feel like we’ve just lost a cup final for some reason?

Just one of those days. A rare off day, and they are entitled to have the odd one, surely they all have more than enough in the bank to compensate for the odd match. As always, how they respond is the proof in the pudding …

Well said mate. Bad day at the office and we need to get behind the lads now. If we win Tuesday then everyone forgets today anyway.

The score line reflects that game, we were poor but credit to Bradford.
