Bradford City (A) Jan 25th, 12.30pm

Deservedly lost today, totally outfought. Our use of the ball was very poor, aimless from the back, no control or calmess in midfield.
Just one of those days I feel. Luckly no damage done, so put it to bed, move on. Lets not let one poor performance discredit all we have achieved so far.
As for the guy who made the tragedy post, his photo should be put on the screen of the scoreboard, name and shame, disgraceful, apologies to Bradford for this peice of shit.

We had a bad bad game that made Bradford look good! I really didn’t think Bradford was all that tbf I think we smash them when we’re at our best

One of those days they’re going to happen, we’ve been spoilt a bit this season. Good news re Jamma and Jellis

Just got from back an enjoyable day out at Bradford (apart from the result).
Results going our way is an understatement. Only other team in the top half to win is Donny. Our lead remains 12 point and today’s events have basically made no difference to our prospects at all.

Lets face it, god just wants us to win the title. Reckon he’s/ she’s got a bet on.

Bad games happen especially as we were missing jellis who would have been key today and matt for half the game

Same response as after fleetwood will do

It’s really weird how much you seem to be relishing this defeat…

Bradford clearly deserved to win. It was strange how far off it we were. Sloppy defensively, lacking bite in the middle and nothing up top.

Bradford picked up all the second balls and as a result left our defence all over the place and for the third the attacker ran past all our lot who looked like they were running through treacle.

Reinforcements needed in the middle, i think and hopefully the new lad up top can provide something.

Sadly, DJ just wasnt the answer today
But, saying that all were very poor.

Stirky tried but even so i would say it was a 5/10 performance.

He perceives it as being so x

If we don’t Recruit before Tuesday do you start allen in midfield and weir lcb ?
We can’t start with that midfield again

It’s why it’s a crap troll.
Not discreet, just blatant.

To be fair, he looked like he could do a job in the middle.

Bad day at the office but somehow still managed to maintain the 12 point gap. Hopefully the lads can bounce back on Tuesday. Bradford done their homework and executed the gameplan to Tee. They did a Walsall on us starved us of any chances and were ruthless on the break.

It’s weird how you seem to think you know what I think

Seeing people catastrophising and panicking when they should have had one eye on tough games and squad depth a good few weeks ago now is rather ironic.

@SaddlerSteve come on, it was a fair point two weeks ago. But it wasn’t popular because it questioned how things were being done. It’s an even fairer point after today. Even if we won today. With no Jamma and Jellis it’s a fair point. SQUAD DEPTH.

@TomWFC92 Do you have the lotto numbers ?

Just back after a disappointing long day out but there haven’t been many of them this season so all is already forgiven.
Results went our way and we still have a 12 point lead at the top.
Think we do need a couple of reinforcements though to see us over the line. Another Jammaesque striker and creative midfielder would do nicely.
Jellis was a big loss today as was losing Jamma.

Roll on Tuesday!

“What’s that skip? We’ve lost today and some flaming galah’s spitting the dummy and blaming McEntee being in midfield. F**kin’ oath mate we’re the winningest Walsall team of all time, and still 12 points clear at the top, with a game in hand and with 58 points on the board we only need 24/25 more for promotion in third. Win the next 7 and we’ll need to beat Swindon at home on 1st March to be home and hosed. With just a minor effort in the las 12 games to secure the title.”
Or more seriously as per @Bluejay 's 83pt target for 3rd, we’ve slipped back to1.25ppg for the remaining 20, so now at a WLWLWLWLDL performance level for the rest of the season.

Coasting :boom:

Sadler said that Jellis was absent due to illness and said that he’d hoped he’d get over it like some of them had but unfortunately got worse, which implied that the illness Jellis has is working its way through the squad, and some had already had it. I think this might help explain why we weren’t as on it as we normally were especially if it’s the stomach bug that’s doing the rounds at my place of work - had one colleague out of action for a week!
