Not sad, just can’t really enjoy the football. I have enjoyed the results up until January though.

That was the big positive for me. At least we didn’t sink with a whimper.

Gap now 8 points to 4th. It is grind it out time. I literally don’t care how we do it but that is a decent result in the context of our 2 month free fall.

MS had to change it up, he did and got a result. A loss would have been psychologically devastating.

I think mindset is critical and tonight will have helped everyone with that.

And yeah McKirdy. Good player. Who always hurts us.

You’re the one talking bollocks - I’ve posted consistently throughout this season - as I have for roughly 20 years on this site, sorry to disappoint.

We are shite at the moment and Sadlers selections and in game management is awful - pretty much everyone sees it, and ever since losing Lowe when the team picked itself, he’s nearly given away a 12 point lead.

But keep happy clapping til we’re 4th buddy :clap:t2:

I thought that the football under Dicky Dosh was horrendous, but still loved that season. Prefer the football this season, but agree we’ve regressed since Lowe went back to Stoke. Never imagined it would have such an impact.

This season will be etched in the old Saddlers memory bank for a long time, one way or another! :upside_down_face:

You are a MOSSIVE negative Nelly. I’ll keep happy clapping, no doubt, because that’s what proper supporters do. You can keep bitching all you like, ya knob :joy:

We used to call um snotters in my day

It’s another point but we were dreadful first half and only slightly better 2nd half. Lack of substitutions for the last 20 minutes was baffling. Maybe Sadler was worried after he fcuked it up so badly on Saturday.

A good point in my view. Bromley are no mugs and we fought back well twice. I enjoyed my first away game of the season . My fellow fans here were very supportive of the team. I think we all thought a sub or two would have been useful especially in midfield but this team has great heart .

I’ll stick up for Phil here ( :flushed::joy:) - It’s perfectly ok to question things; we’ve won 2 in 12, and the performances have tailed off massively.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable for folk to have been very happy for the first 25 games - and then worried for the last 12.

Don’t think it’s negativity, it’s just realism.

Football was ultra basic from DD but so effective. Helped massively at the business end of the season with the signings of Cooper,Harper and Benjamin. We needed that kind of quality when we lost Lowey mate imo

That was a 10%er. 9 times out of 10, that goes wide. We’ve let in a lot of goals from outside the box recently, several a bit unlucky. We need to close down every potential shot a bit quicker.
And the pass for their second - again a 10%er pass ( well taken but a bit lucky to be there). I think our goals were better worked but they deserved their point. Not sure we did.

Will Barrett being suspended for 2 games be the lucky charm that forces Sadler to change that position, and gives our end of season some momentum again by improved performances. Seems to be the only way Sadler will change things.

How does Sadler manage to say so many words without actually talking about the match! Bless him.

Maybe see the Charlton kid but then he didn’t make the bench again.

Seriously what is going on with the loan signings?

Probably be Adomah at RWB and Amantchi starting next game.

Potentially 16 days now until our next game before the biggest week of the season.

Much needed really.

Pleased we got a point, thought it was going to be none at one point. We’ll still be top, for a little bit longer…

I’d give them a week off to rest…old school
