I don’t buy that, I think Lowe would have played, the question is would he have picked Matt or Gordon and would it have worked out as well? I reckon it would have been the latter given he signed him and handed over a two year contract. I don’t think Sadler thought Jamma could sustain the level of football he has, and it is testament to Jamma that he has done so.
That in itself has created a problem as we have become reliant on Jamma with the way we are playing. I’m not convinced Amantchi is an adequate replacement for that.
I worry about Harrison, he could easily of been sent off in both of the previous games. Struck a player in the face right in front of the linesman at Cheltenham and slid in to tackle from behind after a needless booking against Swindon. Hes obviously frustrated but his fortune will run out before long.

My humble opinion is it will the same as the last few games with Sad’s obstinence and he will send out the same knackered players out in the same formation “as we were” hopefully he takes note.

Barrett has been knackered for last 6 weeks and gordon more so every week more recently.
Agree we have to look at this asap.

Don’t think this will be a good game. Can see us losing badly and then toxic Walsall emerges. Players lose confidence, manager gets sacked and Trivela asset strip the club and we end up in tier 8. I do tend to over worry so we might get a 1:2 win

They have kept clean sheets in the last two games but conceded 49 so far around 1.50 per game.
Let play an attacking team - with Lakin and DJ starting and Adomah at right wing back and give it a good go.
Well done to any fans travelling there - last time I went it was snowed off on the way up so we spent an afternoon In the Lake District.

Permit me to say that you’re one of the better posters on here.
I think Sadler is a cautious manager, overly so at times. He’s not as willing to take risks and go for the jugular like he did in the first half of the season.
Yes, we’re still leading the division, but our lead is diminishing by the week mainly due to our below par performances. Two wins in nine is not what a club needs to do if the want to win the league.
Sadler has to take some of the blame for that imho.
Don’t get me wrong, MS has many good qualities otherwise we wouldn’t be in the position we’re in.
All I’m asking him to do is to change the team around a little so we’re not as transparent.
I’d like to see Weir get some games, Harry back in defense and for DJ to get more playing time, he is the best, instinctive striker we have at the club, he should play more imho. Give Chang some playing time, he received raving reviews from Blues fans before he came here. He deserves some time on the pitch.
Sadler seems unwilling (some say scared) to make the changes most of us want to see.

Pretty much my view too.
I’m very nervous about tonight’s game.
A defeat would be a bit of a disaster. A draw would mean Saturday becomes a must win. A win, no matter how it comes, would make me very happy indeed.
