If Cheltenham are sending Owen Evans out on loan to Barnet (as reported) it leaves their match-day squad with just the one goalkeeper, Joe Day (also the club’s goalkeeping coach). They do have another keeper, but he’s out on a season-long loan to Weston-Super-Mud - I suppose he could be recalled in case of emergency, but Cheltenham meanwhile won’t have a substitute keeper on their bench unless they sign one pdq…
Looking at the weather forecast it will be a minor miracle if this game is on.
Im sure you have said that about every game Crod over the last few weeks
Not forecast to drop below -2 (it’s actually warmed up compared with what it was forecast -5) so if they have some decent covers we should be ok.
I hope so Poloman, but safety has to be at the forefront of any decision. Whilst we’ve never found the EV Charger Points Stadium a particularly easy place to go I’ve always enjoyed my visits there.
Surely got to be in grave danger
The last time we played there, the sauage rolls from the kiosk in the corner of our end were the best I’ve ever eaten - pricey compared to the Poundland, but worth the money. Thought they might have been from the same supplier as Gloucester South services (run by the same people as Tebay so high end farm shop) but they’re even tastier than those.
No alcohol avaiable there though as it’s in sight of the pitch.
I wonder whether Evan Weir will keep his place or will the recharged Tesla Allen come back in?
Keep plugging away.
We could be mourning a P-P game.
Think we will socket to them
On current form there should be no resistance to either choice!
At the moment, it is great how positive everyone is, and there really should be no negative thoughts going into our game as Sadler and his team continue to transform us into a title-winning side. To see the team conduct the fans’ singing after every game shows that togetherness and flow that we have, which should be hard to break.
As long as we all remain grounded and the connection between the team and fans remains intact, more success will be generated
Hope it’s on. The spark this team has at the moment is so powerful.
I hope the batteries dont drain in this cold snap.
Take me ohm country roads
It’ll be a shock if its called off …
I’m sure if the bad weather can be repelled then the game should attract a decent crowd.
Why? Potentially -2 overnight
