I think Mr Pompom should revise his budget by a decimal place and reduce his expectations to 500 only if we are playing one of the bigger teams in the league like FGR

They were better than us overall, but we made some great chances, enough to have won, however, we are useless in front of goal.

We couldn’t have with these forwards. Gaffney and Gordon are both grafters but neither have a strikers instinct.

Surely there have to be some unattached strikers out there somewhere? This disgraceful rubbish will continue for ever unless we find somebody out there who can score goals.

DC has got to find a couple of half decent centre forwards and a midfield playmaker who are out of contract. I can’t see us getting to January
Another home defeat!
They were by far the better side, defended well and won everything in the air.
I concur with those who say we are useless in first of goal - we are embarrassingly bad.
McDonald had his worst game, trying to overdo things, kept tripping over his feet and very heavy touches when he had the ball.
Pring and Jules played well at times, as did Clarke and Sinclair. we were often let down, again, by our appalling passing.
I don’t know where we go from here, I really don’t.
I thought we had turned the corner during the mini run we had, but it’s like 1 step forward and 2 steps back.
Great support again from our getting frustrated fans, they are certainly doing their part, the player need to do likewise.

The players obviously couldn’t give a damn! all this rubbish about them playing their hearts out for the gaffer is just guff.
You only need to look at the odds of a Walsall home win (7/1) to see that everybody and every team know we are crud…come to Fortress Bescot for an easy 3 point haul.

I don’t buy this their doing it in training crap either surely there can’t be this much of a gulf between what he sees in training and the match day scenario they are quite clearly crap in training and on a match day.
