Are they something that can defrost a pitch an hour before or does it take hours?
I would imagine nowadays (with new tech) its rather quick but clubs of our size would have to buy the cheaper less energy efficient ones, so yes can see it being rather expensive.
The other question is, how much have these postponed games cost us? Would the undersoil heating have paid for itself?
We have a Tuesday game every week until 21st Feb. Plus the Swindon game to fit in. And if by some chance we did beat Leicester that will be another game to be rearranged.
Using it is another matter, reading comments, expensive as hell to use once installed. And with ‘sustainability’ being a major word these days, maybe this falls into the category of not being essential??
