Just watching the UTD game , why do the subs have to sit yards apart with masks on , but on the pitch they can hug and jump all over each other ?
When the 2 metre social distancing rule came in it was defined as spending more than 15 minutes in close contact with other people. I guess the subs would be exceeding that time limit but not players on the pitch. Another crazy covid anomaly.

What I don’t get is the fourth official who holds up the boards for subs etc wears a mask, but there’s always another official right next to them without a mask on

Perhaps the board might be infected 
A few weeks ago someone wearing a useless, pointless rag over their gob disinfected the cossbar during half-time in the Watford v Newcastle game whilst standing on a ladder many yards from anyone. Its all about the deadly vaaaarus, don’t you know.
