Doncaster Rovers (A) 30th March, 3pm

But most predicting losses. I’m sure the bookies will agree too.

Hmmm I’m not sure about that. Donny are better than recent seasons and we are worse. I think there’s ample reason to fear this one. Not impossible but if people think this is going to be end to end, toe to toe, they are delusional.

We will need to keep it very tight to get anything from this one, hope I’m wrong. I’d take a point.

Predict a loss. Would really worry for us if it happens.

Last time I checked we were 4/1 to win

Donny have won once in 8 games, and are actually below us on form (last 8), although those include 5 away games and 2 homes were against tough teams. They beat us 4-1 at home and predict they’ll be too much for us again this time.

A draw is within our grasp, assuming we have a decent game plan and actually use subs effectively for once. Shrewsbury managed a 0-0 there recently.

A close, toe to toe 2-1 defeat, with the pivotal goal for them in the final 10 minutes. Leading goalscorer Cook given the last 20 seconds to make his impact, which should be more than enough if he’s any good. :slightly_smiling_face:

… edit… oh dear!

Except they won 4-1 last Tuesday!!!

Ah yes, l meant won once. Still below is on form though.

Head tells me 3-0 loss, heart tells me battling 1-1 draw. :-/

We have mostly played well in the last 3 games and got zero points, just wonder how many more good performances this team has left in them ? Maybe lady luck will be on our side this time, 0-1 to us with an Andy Butler ‘accidental OG’

Any limbs that Cookie isn’t starting?

Cook on the bench, to come on when we are 4-0 down with 20 seconds to go…“were going to win 5-4, were going to win 5-4”
In all seriousness, you just have to look at their attack, Coppinger (who’s been knocking 'em in for years) and Marquis (the ugly get!)
It’s like starting from behind before you’ve kicked off!

Same starting eleven as last week

No place for the player of the season shoe in

He won’t suit the system. Anyway, who needs goals when the system is working.

Complete moral victory.

Have to agree, to win games you have to score goals, with this set up we look great going forward on breakaways, but, if you cant score goals we may as well just hand the points to our opposition from the start and save the hassle.
Cook scores goals, flash doesn’t (often enough). Everybody that follows Walsall can see the problem, unfortunately someone quite important to the team doesn’t.

Doncaster Rovers penalty, 2nd minute … and scored. 1-0

(George Dobson foul)

… and 2-0 after 3 minutes!!! :roll_eyes::roll_eyes::roll_eyes:

Whoh there, you didn’t give us chance to hide!!!
Cheltenham Town on a freezing Tuesday evening anyone?

Keates to make three subs.

Early goal at Bloomfield Road … Blackpool 0 Plymouth Argyle 1 (6 min)

Always good when you start game with positive impact. And even better when you extend this impact. Good game plan can do wonders.
