No disrespect to Freddie but potentially this could be a better signing for what we need now; has scored goals in L1 and 2, has experience of promotion from National League, L2 and L1. He is ready made. Along with Jamma, Levi, the kid from Man U and DJ we can give opposing teams some real problems. If one combination isn’t working we can bring on another.

This is a Don Goodman, Trevor Benjamin type of signing for me.

Exactly, the difference between now and this time last week is options, we have Levi and Harrison who both bring something different. Levi is a Jamma substitute but even he is different with a bit of pace and skill, if Jamma can just pass on some of his wisdom particularly in the dark arts then he’ll be very good for us imo.
I have a feeling this could work out quite well.

As he’s leaving them anyway not sure why it was a loan not just a free transfer but never mind, Although it removes the risk It doesn’t work out I guess.
If he does well here he could be the natural replacement for Jamma for next few years as he has a few more years on his side.
Look forward to see him play. Seems great bit of business this one.

Maybe it was an admin issue if it was done very late and having to get through. A loan i would assume is easier than agreeing a pay off from a current club, and new contract with a player, whereas a loan agreement once the player agrees to it is solely an interaction between the parent and the loan club.

I am glad he has joined because he brings experience to the front line. At this stage, that can be more important than youthful vigour. So, enough good games to see a promotion.

Ellis is exactly what we need, an experienced proven goalscorer at this level (and higher) who will take us over the line. Someone our fans were screaming for yesterday.
Well done to the club for getting this done.
I feel much more confident that we’ve added two midfielders and a proven striker to the squad, the club and Trivela addressed our concerns and we can’t ask anymore of them than that imho.
