Has he unretired, helping out a mate or trying to promote whatever business he started with that sudden announcement he was stopping playing?

A big ask but great to see him back. Not sure how long he has left on his deal. Brentford been playing fine without him for 18 months so they might be open to 10m bids now. Could see Potter at West Ham wanting him and certainly Moyes at Everton if they stay up as they have Ashley Young still playing LB at times.

Yann Songo’o inexplicably picks the ball up and gives a penalty away in Morecambe’s game against Chelsea.

Nkunku misses the spotkick.

Well we know where Cameron Norman is. He helped us to 2 goals today.

Was surprised at all the fawning about him after he left. Unless I’ve missed something he’s just journeymaned around league 2 in the five years since? I didn’t hugely rate any of Leahy, Scarr or Devlin when they were here but they’ve all proved the fanbase wrong with Devlin playing for his country, Scarr had a season in the championship and will probably be playing there again next season and Leahy a key player in league one side massively overachieving.

The environment around the club with the last few years of Bonser was just too toxic to succeed for most in those times. However Norman is just a bang average league 2 player. No shame in that but it’s his level.

Good luck to Rico Henry in his long awaited comeback.

Rushall having a mini revival after looking certs for relegation.

Hope they can defy the odds again and remain in National league North.

Arguably their greatest ever result if they beat Scunny today as must’ve been a huge gulf in divisions as recently as 2018 when Scunthorpe finished in the league one play offs.

He was substituted on 63 minutes with the score at 0-0. No suggestion of any injury involvement.

And they then lost after he came off… Would he get back into this team. Lol.

Omar Mussa at Torquay, also topping there league right now.

Tamworth’s number 22 looks a decent attacking midfielder (Beck-Ray Enoru). Only 22 as well.
