I saw Holden outside the ground before the game. He was limping…
Was ken Armstrong there? Did he say when he’s hoping to be fit?
Did he have one of them foreign Parakeets, eating a British Sparrow on his shoulder
You saw him too!
When does Holdens contract expire? got my doubts we will ever see him again the way its going.
Always liked O Toole whenever he has played against us but is now 33 and I feel we need to strengthen in other areas. Kahn signing makes more sense.
Agreed, think his contract will be terminated by mutual consent, gutted for the lad, but footballers rely on their legs to ply their trade, if you cant use them properly any more, football is no longer the available profession from which you can earn a living.
Fine by me. Not really his fault, but I think he was stunted last year by going from a midfield dynamo in the youth team to a “Double Pivot” Defensive midfielder last season. Perry has gone past him now so we already have four decent options in centre mid.
We signed Holden, for a fee, in the summer of 2020 on a 3 year contract.
So for a player we signed for actual cash, and is at the moment not even halfway through that contract, I think is far too early to be talking about terminating contracts.
Honest question here…Do you really think we will see Holden in a Walsall shirt again?
Not a chance.
The club have already stated that the specialists finally got the root of his problems and the Op was a success.
Just a case now of recovery, building up strength, fitness etc etc.
We will see him back before the seasons out and I am sure (with a pre season of hard work) we will see the best of him next season.
Yes yes yes.
Do hope so. I know it’s easy to criticise but you do wonder how well this injury has been handled.
Good call………albeit 4 years later😀
That’s even later than a John Keister tackle.
Let’s set the ball rolling with the first ‘Official’ Summer transfer window. Not sure on who the player is as not paying to unlock the patreon but I’d predict it’s Hindolo Mustapha
Will probably replace Jellis.
In terms of contract talks, a bit like Liverpool, let’s see the season out and then see where we are.
Since the euphoria of Notts County away, and then Lowe’s departure, it has been really hard to retain the positive vibes, but we have to do everything we can to Support the CURRENT PLAYERS and then the inevitable ins and outs of the transfer market can occur then.
We’re in a good place and our links with Stoke and Birmingham will help us if we secure promotion to league one.
I do wonder whether Wheatley was a mistake: I hope I’m wrong but would love to know what’s happening there…
