Any talk of Sadler being sacked is stupid. He should be man enough and have the balls to resign if he manages to fcuk this up.
Was 60 quid return with a railcard for yesterday.
Add 23 quid match ticket, bit more for food and drink and you’re over £100.
Dismal away following though according to some
I think that Wrexham’s home form has slipped of late, even though, over the season, it has been very good.
This certainly helped them yesterday, though:

I fully expect them to go up though, and like Birmingham City, they are willing to pay top dollar in terms of transfer fees and wages.
The club need the supporters to stick together and stay with the team, even if we fall behind in games.
We’re still in a great position and having beaten Port Vale, Doncaster and Wimbledon in our purple patch, we can grind out some vital points in the coming weeks.
The return of Hall, Earing, Daniels and Harrison could be huge, between now and the end of the season, but, I think we all know that it will probably go down to the wire…
This is why I’m still reasonably positive. The rub of the green will hopefully even out and we will turn in three or four wins.
Unlike some others, I can see where the next wins are coming from.
May needs to freshen things up a bit though in my view - not wholesale changes, but he needs to go back to doing what he did earlier on and rotate a few players, both in the starting line up and mid game.
Ain’t being funny Belph but the reality is that we didn’t get wins out of those drawn games - this could be the difference between us securing a top 3 place or not…
It’s quite difficult to try to understand MS’s thinking when letting a 12 point lead slip so, relatively quickly… He will have no one to blame but himself if we (he) screw this up
I hope you’re right and we can finish the job and secure an auto spot because we’ve got zip chance in the PO (based on current and recent form)
Let’s say we scrape over the line in 3rd place, say by GD (which we’d all take now as we would have done in August) then I genuinely fear for us in League One under Matt (as I would in the playoffs).
Anyone else bored of answering at work or from friends/family “What’s happened to the Saddlers?” does my head in & run out of answers. Seems a lifetime ago we were sharing articles from websites & papers on the Super Saddlers running away with the league!
Ffs feed the owl & don’t lump on!

I totally understand the concerns and agree with much of it.
However, I don’t think it’s anything like a done deal yet. The others all have difficult games to come, and after the next three, we have a great little run of games before Crewe.
If we were getting bollocked I would be more worried, but we aren’t.
I don’t expect us to finish on top now as Bradford are on a fair old roll, but 2nd or 3rd are still there for us.
Sadler has to freshen it up though, particularly in midfield and up front.
And there lies the problem.
Nope, no one mentioning the subject for a few weeks now for fear of an angry insult from me .
Matt should have scored 2, maybe 3… good save by Hornby - should have won based on highlights.
No bothered about how we may or may not do in L1 we have a summer to recruit let’s just get out of L2, far too early to say we will struggle.
Final thought we know MS’s weakness is sticking with OR not using certain players. Flash not good enough and DJ scores goals.
The repeated use of Adomah as a striker is perplexing, it’s also failing and therefore stupid/stubborn.
I don’t get bored either. I simply point out our largely young and inexperienced team did very well to get 12 points ahead but is finding it difficult to maintain that level of performance due to the loss of a key player and some of the others losing form. I also point out that the season isn’t over yet and that the next 3 matches are key and that like all Walsall fans I expect our performances to improve especially at home which was a real fortress for much of the season. Incidentally I don’t think our away performances recently have been that bad. Draws away from home are always welcome.
Not feeling the pessimism to be honest. Last two results are decent and it is far too early to give up all hope as some have consigned themselves to on this thread. All a bit premature.
I don’t have us to win until Harrogate at home on 18th April and still go up, with 3 draws and a defeat in the next 4. Dread to think of some of the hyperbole on here if that happens.
If Bradford win the league with the fixtures they have remaining then fair play to them. Others dropping points left and right. Wimbledon’s form is rubbish, Doncaster haven’t won in 3, Notts county’s form is awful. Port Vale have won the last two and look the immediate threat at present but no-one has an easy run-in.
HMS Piss the League obviously isn’t running at full steam ahead but neither is it languishing at the bottom of the Atlantic as some are suggesting.
To the first part I think the striking options from January were our 3rd 4th and 5th options with Lowe going back
1 - Freddie
2 - The lad from Forest that signed for Lincoln?
3 - Levi
4 - Wheatley
5 - Harrison who I think was a panic signing after a few cameos from Wheatley who looked off the pace
You may be right there, but in my opinion, Harrison has done about as well as I’d have expected Draper to do, if not better.
I don’t know anything about number 2, but I’d back Johnson to score as many as the rest put together if he could get 60 minutes a match on the pitch. I don’t buy this stuff about him not being able to press anymore, after watching Adomah and Matt yesterday.
Is Sadler the most stubborn manager / head coach we have ever had at Walsall?
24hrs on and I’m still completely baffled by some of Sadlers decisions.
This run of form is on him!
I don’t believe for one minute that players like DJ aren’t worthy of more than 10 minutes, in a team that’s won 2/15.
A striker force of Matt and DJ is more than capable of getting results.
I can’t figure out if Sadler is stubborn or stupid.
Possibly both
No
Colin Lee existed. I dont remember the mighty Dean Smith ever changing his team either. Literally never.
Nothing changes at clubs until the manager does, i dont think its fair to call Sadler stubborn really. He is just fearful of changing it up too much at once. He has been stung doing that before, see Mk Dons games.
I think hes stuck at the moment, doesnt know what to do to get a result. If he makes 4 changes and we lose 5 nil he gets even bigger pelters.
