Goal of the month

Walsall midfielder Emmanuel Osadebe has been nominated for April’s Sky Bet League Two Goal of the Month award.

The 24-year-old curled a beauty into the top corner to help the Saddlers earn a 1-0 win over Tranmere Rovers on April 13th.

The winners of the Sky Bet EFL Goals of the Month are chosen by a fan poll on the official Sky Bet Championship, League One and League Two twitter accounts.

The three nominees for Sky Bet League Two are:

Callum Wright – CHELTENHAM TOWN v Tranmere Rovers – 2nd April

The on-loan Leicester midfielder simply stood and delivered as two headers sent the ball dropping to him on the edge of the area. His volley looked as effortless as it was magical.

Emmanuel Osadebe – WALSALL v Tranmere Rovers – 13th April

Osadebe combined balletic balance as he dummied a defender and a hammerhead of a right foot shot with wicked curve and dip as his 20-yard effort flew in off the underside of the bar.

Tom Conlon – Barrow v PORT VALE – 20th April

Wow. When Barrow keeper Joel Dixon launched a goal-kick, the last thing he expected was Conlon seizing his chance to arc an audaciously looped volley over him from the halfway line.

Voting is open from 10AM FRIDAY 7th MAY on the official EFL Twitter accounts.

Voting closes on MONDAY 10th. MAY

Winners will be announced on Friday 14th May.

Meh. Meh.

The Osse was probably the only player that restored my faith in Walsall over the last few games,
I can’t believe his turnaround as a player :man_shrugging:

Just trying to bring a bit of positivity to a #### season instead of doom and gloom !!
It was a cracking goal
