Why was their striker left completely unmarked in that position? All the time in the world to compose himself and chose his spot.
There seems to be no former defender in the coaching staff, so goals like that can creep in. But there is plenty of time to put that right.

The amount of times we dont get out quick enough and stop the short set piece Is criminal. A reoccurring theme under Sadler’s tenure. I remember Eisa hitting that screamer last season becaise of something similar.

I think this is what you would call hoofball. There’s no real mix about our play anymore. Gonna take a lot out of these players to chase these around all afternoon.

Good open game, which both suits us and makes them dangerous in equal measure given how suspect we seem to have become defensively.

We’ve had stuff like that happen multiple times throughout the season, from both free kicks and corners.
Our players seem completely convinced that the ball is going to come straight into the box so no one bothers looking for anyone hanging around unmarked on the edge of the box.
The fact it keeps happening means we’re not learning lessons.
