IMO Johnson came on at 89 to run down the clock. Like away at Chesterfield, Sadler had effectively settled for a point. Although the management of our free-kick in injury time that led to the concession of their chance was awful. A better team would have won the game.

DJ has behaved impeccably given how he has been treated. The refusal to replace Earing’s minutes (and those given to Hall), and to rotate WBs is criminal. Makes me worry about how we fare when we go up. Sadler’s obstinacy is already costing us.

Ironically not using DJ sufficiently is also unecessarily red-zoning Matt, so its a double dose of mismanagement, and with using Albert’s minutes as a striker instead of the natural rotation for Barrett its a trebler!

Probably same starting line up as Tues, and a Grimsby win.
It’s just nonsense talk with DJ, he’s our best goal scorer.
We didn’t even need to play a high pressing game against Carlisle, they were crap. He plays Adomah up top purely for his work rate, which for me isn’t all that.
DJ would of got at least 2/3 good chances and one of them would of hit the back of the net, it’s that simple!
I’d also argue that with his limited minutes, he has a lot more in the tank than others.
Just shite management.

I think the fact that he’s probably the clubs top earner and it’s helping to pay his mortgage off before he retires in the next 3/4 years helps.
It obviously isn’t a ‘must win’ but to me it does feel as though we need to get wins ahead of the Wimbledon, Doncaster and Vale games.
Forget Bradford, fail to beat these and Bromley and those three sides could be very close to us when we play them.

No ifs, no buts, we have to win this.2-0 will do. Grimsby have been in good form and we haven’t but there was some improvement in our play on Tuesday so we should build on that.
bit concerned that the so called easier run of games hasnt given us the points that we need. This will be a tough match against Grimsby

There’s no way this could be classed as an easier game - Grimsby’s form is excellent and I reckon it’ll be a tough game. That said, we seem to play best against good teams so maybe that’ll suit us?

a few weeks ago it would have been but we seem to be playing every team as they improve the form they are on. Swindon have improved with holloway. Carlisle have found a way not to lose and Flynn has got cheltenham playing better recently
