Oakengates Athletic, who he played for in 2017, no longer exist. They merged with Wellington Amateurs and I think Guthrie might be good enough for them. If he sharpens up his fitness a bit.
Dreadful decision by Clarke to give him a contract last summer.

Good riddance. Complete waste of a substantial part of our playing budget, offered us nothing.

Does your source know whether this agreement has cost us any more money over and above that due to him, up to and including yesterday?
Letâs hope we havenât paid him in Worsul4evaâs pork scratchings currency, it could bankrupt the club!

I donât know is the honest answer. I doubt very much he would know the detail to that extent - in fact I know he wouldnât.
What I do know is that Guthrie really enjoyed playing for the club and wasnât earning what has been openly rumoured (as stated by me previously).
