Harrogate Town (A) Dec 21st, 3pm

We were totally dominant in the 2nd half that the 2nd goal had to come, it did from Uncle Albert.
Lakin was unlucky to have his shot blocked, I thought he played well today as did a few others.
We mastered the conditions, Harrogate hung their heads after Albert’s goal went in and we went on to win the game comfortably.
Two mentions: The fantastic support from our loyal traveling fans…This one was for you Chunkster!
The referee’s first EFL game was a credit ti him, well done.

I dont think they will care too much about that sadly.

So well coached. Strengthen a bit now( more if Lowey goes). Then fingers crossed a memorable second half of the season ahead :ok_hand:

No and its such a shame and a mystery, to me anyway. I look at league 2 attendances and cant understand why clubs with supposedly smaller fan bases getting superior followings.

Its very disappointing

Are we safe from the drop yet? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Be nice to get 8k+. Anything less would be disappointing with us being top of the league and I’d imagine a sell out away end.

I was thinking it would be nice to push 8 thousand on boxing day.

Cant wait for Boxing Day :facepunch:

Going back the last 10 seasons some teams have gone down with 43, 45 & 46 points… so not quite.:joy:

No I don’t either, especially if the coaching team are trying to keep their own jobs.

A grand conspiracy

classic deflection tactic.

Probably need a ticket deal for that but they won’t put one on Boxing day which is always a better attended game than pretty much any other home game.

I’d say about 7k if Donny bring over a thousand.

We are 14th in the division for average home attendance which given we are top of the league by some distance is very disappointing

I was thinking about that Crewe attendance last night. If we had offered similar prices would we have got over 9,000 in? Sadly I don’t think so. This is where Ben Sadler is going to earn his corn.

He thought they played well second half

It took them until the 81st minute to have a touch of the ball in our half :joy::joy::joy:

Classic response from a manager under pressure.

His Dad is their owner so won’t be as under as much pressure as many other managers.

Ah the old it’s not what you know it’s who you know scenario.Did I hear them say their fans were calling for him to get sacked during the game? And that he’s been there for 15 years??.

That’s one of most one sided matches i think i’ve ever seen!! How it was only 2 nil i’ll never know, we could of had double figures!!!
