If we bottle this……

Correct me if I’m wrong, but that reads a whole lot like you’re looking forward to us not getting promoted just to prove your theories? :grimacing:

Maybe but this isn’t a cycling race .It is a league and form goes up and down and every fixture has its own story.

Momentum is everything though. I am still convinced that if we hadn’t thrown the two goal lead away at Chelthenam, we’d be almost there now.

He is but like his geography his understanding of the game is somewhat rudimentary.

the psychological blow of that cannot be underestimated.

Think you’ll find it was Bromley where we got Levi from (not Barrow)

Are you sure? The E&S are reporting that we’ve indeed had interest from the NL but that Sadler is open to him going out on loan rather than there being a permanent deal in the offing. Have we received an offer we can’t refuse?

We will want him for next season. With DD and Farquarhson coming back a loan would be ideal.

Farq is apparently going to get injured by the end of August so lets write that absolute waste of wage off thanks

Do you think that DD and Farquarson are likely to be offered new deals when their current contracts expire in the summer?

I know our current results are nowhere near what they were and we’ve had to watch what was a significant lead dwindle away which has caused a lot of supporters to become concerned (absolutely understandable) and yes leaking goals at the back doesn’t help but for me the way the team battled and fought for every ball last night convinced me that we won’t “bottle it “.
Those players last night gave it a good go against a big physical team and were unlucky in the end to not pinch the three points.
This break may well work in our favour even though Bradford and the chasing pack have a chance to overtake us or close the gap they won’t have a chance to rest and reset so who knows what will happen but it’s all to play for.

No I don’t and that is why I think Browne will be needed next season.

Farquharson - no I don’t think he will be offered a contract. He’s been unlucky with injuries but as things currently stand he’s not needed.

Daniels - not had his greatest season, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we offered him another year. Sadler rates him on and off the pitch and I think he’ll want to keep him around.

If Trivela have got money to burn then by all means offer contracts to DD and PF. By gut feeling is they haven’t and whilst they are no doubt great characters to have around, they are primarily paid to play football, neither of which have done so to any level of return this season.

Thanks for their service but time to move on, especially if we have any hopes at serving in League One, should we get there.

DD probably not, especially if we go up. Farq, sadly with our budget I think he is a luxury we cannot afford, and the one thing that the last 10 games has proved is that Sadler will have a lot of work to do in the summer if we go up because this squad is not League 1 proof by quite a distance,

In reality how many of our squad are capable of competing in league 1.

Maybe the fullbacks, Jellis and a sharp Harry Williams

I would add Taylor Allen and Adomah to that list.

Potentially Stirk and DJ as well
