Just a bit of fun this, but I’ve realised we have had more players play for us that have also represented there country than what I thought. I’m not going to start with to many but I will start us off, let’s remember them:-
Paul Merson - England
Steve Staunton - Republic of Ireland
Marco Reich - Germany

There are loads. I suppose there are 3 types. The people like Merson who come to us on the way down; the people who play internationals while playing for us; and those that go on to play international football, such as (briefly) Michael Ricketts or Allan Clarke.
The middle group might be most interesting. Mick Kearns, Will Grigg, Johnny Keister, Martin O’Connor, Kyle Lightbourne, Jason Demetriou…
Of those that went on to better things, there are not so many.
Neil Etheridge - Phillipines

Fairly sure Wayne Evans was called up for Wales squads when he was with us but didn’t get a game.
Mark Bradley played for Wales and I think it was in between him being released by us and signing for Rotherham so can we lay claim to that as a club
Paul Ritchie - Scotland
Clayton Ince - Trinidad & Tobago
Tom Bradshaw - Wales
John Macken - Eire
Charlie Ntamark - Cameroon
