My first time in a “safe standing” area. Wondering how different it is to the traditional “unsafe standing” areas I’ve stood on for decades.
First time for me was at Blues last season.
I’m fairly sure everyone would have been standing anyway, you just don’t get stewards coming to tell you to sit down.
I quite liked it but it’s something quite different to standing on the Street End.
Generated a good atmosphere, I’d expect the same tomorrow, unless we are getting tonked.

Unfortunately, I can see that happening. As it stands, we are so much weaker than last season, in all departments. I hope the players prove me wrong, but I just can’t see us getting anything out of this game, other than a 3-0 beating.

Can’t remember the exact allocation but it was 800 and something.

Sadler needs to be forced not to play is proven failures that he loves
Unfortunately it is only a 1 match ban.
Expect plenty of 5 yard passes back to the centre backs if he plays
I think you only get 3 matches for things like dangerous play etc. Professional foul is just one game I think.
I stand corrected in that case I thought it was 3 for a red, 1 for second yellow
Any ideas on parking for this one, either paid or free? Although a good away following, presume it will generally be an empty stadium.
Well 2 sides if it will be empty as Stoke are only selling tickets to their own fans for the main stand.

This’ll be Stoke reserves vs Walsall reserves. Hopefully a few of the fringe players put in good performances to give Sadler something to think about.
We’ll probably have more joy going forward against these than we did against Gillingham as I assume they will try and play out more than they did.
