It was tongue in cheek
If, and it’s a huge IF, the game goes ahead we are in for a really tough challenge. Colchester United should be underestimated at their peril, they have picked up some eye catching results and will be hell bent on adding to that collection at the league leaders.
I’m sure they would have put covers down to protect the pitch, if they don’t and it’s called off they only have themselves to blame.
I remember we beat after trailing in going added time during 15/16, 2 goals in 3 minutes I am sure. Was that under O’Dismal?
Ron Green, Fred Barber and Rene Gilmartin
Avaliable. Got dropped from kenya squad
Well considering Akande hasn’t appeared in a squad since the start of September, I think we can relax about him slightly ![]()
Harry Anderson on the left however is a good player, got eleven goals last season and has already got five assists. Same with the winger on the other side, another Lisbie, Kyreece!
Anderson was a nomination for October Player of the Month.
Micah Mbick is a fellow Charlton loanee striker for Col U, 3 goals 1 assist so far
I think it’s Edwards on one of the wings who always causes us problems , scored against us at their place last season
Sincerely hope that the travelling gate will be sufficiently coated to repel the inclement weather.
I’ve only been away to colchester and it was a5-0 defeat when Paul Merson was in charge ![]()
I missed that one, my one and only visit to Layer Road was a 0-0…all that way on a Tuesday night
I was at the 4-4 about 10 years ago (I think)
Ive tried to phase the merson manager years out of my memory
I’m thinking the bench will be:
Hornby, Priestly, Warrington, Adomah, Matt, Roofe, Okeke
Is Harper away with Kenya on international duty? They are playing tonight. Only lists the starting line up which he isn’t in. Sure he was called up though.
Think I would start Okeke over Harper regardless
