Pretty sure played at Leicester in the painpot a few years back back at the height of boycotting it with the B teams and think the away following was somehow more than a few of the league 1 trips that year.
Such an eff in knob head
It was the last time we played them - won 1-0 thanks to Bakayoko. Was only their kids but still counts in the record books as it was a first team game for us.
We probably did outnumber the home fans but we were all in just 1 or 2 blocks behind the dugouts.
I was sat behind Josh Ginnellyās uncle.
Canāt rest had to get up as I canāt go back to sleep going over and over the game today in my head . Anyone else up and getting ready for the big day ?
It was half 7ish when you wrote your postā¦ thatās a lie in for me! UTS!
Ive been awake since 4.15 am though
Wasnāt awake thst early but I am up and getting ready.
All being well, @Belgiansaddler should now be on a teain and into his 2nd or 3rd can.
Just switched the radio on - an Andy Williams song. Itās a sign !!
COME ON YOU REEEDDDDSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Game day, letās go!
Walsall FC
First time i have EVER had to set the alarm for an effin football match
Woke up this morning with a massiveā¦ā¦ā¦anticipation for the day ahead. All I want from today is for us to do ourselves justice and to not regret that we could have done more.Leave it all out on the pitch as they say and enjoy the day, play with freedom and get stuck into this lot.Letās see a nice strong tackle early doors that puts a prem player on his arse to get the crowd going because I think we are going to be important today and Iād like us to show the same level of singing as an away match like at Wycombe where we never shut up all game.If they have an off day and every single one of ours plays to their highest level we might just see another sprinkle of FA Cup magic.
There really must be something in the air today - my missus has even moved her hair appointment forward so she can be free to give me and my lad a lift so we can have a few pops.
Big dayā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦bacon sarnies fust.
Same here chap.
Been awake since five am thinking about it.
These days dont come along often for us saddlers fans
Yep my feelings exactly - enjoy the occasion, soak up the atmosphere- what will be will be. Ive taken that attitude for every game like this since the first one.i went to - man u at home in 1975.
Come on boys!!
Totally believe we can win this, while accepting it is going to be very, very tough. Should it not happen for us and we end up on the wrong end of a 3 or 4 nil, I will not be disappointed or crtitical of any of our team just so long as they give their all, so be it.
All I would ask is that every single one of us plays our part and makes as much noise in support of the lads as possible. If I havenāt lost my voice tomorrow I will know I could have done more.
Against Avantiās best wishes, Iāve made the 09:02 from Euston to New Street.
Please turn up boys and make the arduous journey worth it
Iām strangely nervous

It like Christmas Morning
Just so fecking proud.
To see the ābonks"sā full, seeing those red shirts with the Walsall badge for all to see, walk onto the hallowed turf.
Knowing that tens of 1,000s of other people are viewing out great stadium and team via a button, around the world, its just the dogs bullocks.
I frankly have not thought of the result, just off with the fairies as usual.
Today is just a win win for this great little club, whatever the result.
WFC do know how to let u down but my god, they also know how to make us fecking proud of them, times like thisā¦
Today, everyone will be talking about us, that what is so fecking great about this cup runā¦
WE ARE ON THE MAP.
Maybe not the day we had in Wales but who knows, it may well be just as unforgettable and go down in History.
Have a great day all, whether you are there or watching it wherever
COME ON ME BABBIES
UTS
We are all going as a family today. My wife, two boys and myself. Iāve got to give a little shoutout to our George though, he is so excited. He has stuck it out through all the rubbish, following his daft Dad who knows no better. I can blame that on my Dad, I wouldnāt change it for all the world and would gladly do it all again.
These are the days he has been waiting for, I must admit I almost had a tear in my eye this morning when I saw how excited he is, bombarding me with a million questions.
Enjoy it every one of you. Regardless of the result, sing loud and proud, we are on our way back.
