In terms of formation - but I think today we’ve got the first choice 4 players (in the absence of Holden) for most fans, which we haven’t started with before. Shade, Phillip & Osadebe aren’t bad options on the bench, but better they’re there than starting.
I don’t think any match we play can be classed as easy for us. I’ve gone with a draw.
I’m sure whites played on the right hand side of a centre back partnership before and didn’t look out of place can’t see it being a problem myself against this lot.
Quality I agree. It’s as aggressive in and attacking sense as we are every week. In fact I’d even say possibly less so with Khan and Kiernan in the team who help the team out defensively more than any other forwards in the squad.
At this level you have to find a way to get your best players on the pitch, can’t help but feel we’re trying to be to clever.
Why not play Kinsella at full back over Mills?
Based on how they’re warming up; Mills is at RB and White is CB

I’d have potentially thought that Kinsella is being given a rest. He isn’t long back from injury, we’ve had some heavy pitches and he has been playing to cover Labadie’s absence. Sensible management. He’s there if we really need him.

Yes, Khan and Kiernan do help out their fullback more than Shade, Wilkinson or Phillips (cf his attempts last Saturday that led to Newport’s first goal) but they also have more quality and guile to make things happen going forward too.
I’m guessing Kiernan as the no. 10 with Wilkinson cutting in from the right and Khan the left?

Yep. Like I said, quality wise I agree. Don’t rate Philips, Shade or Osedebe so definitely first choice personnel.
Hmm not sure, I think it will be Kiernan wide in his best position and Khan in the middle but tenure pretty interchangeable to be fair.
Their manager looks like he’s just finished on the farm.
