Shambles. Again. We’re so good a reversing the fortunes of sides who have been struggling of late.
Crosses from our left back position do us every week. Ward goes missing, uncontested crosses into the box and we concede.
Centre backs are also culpable - the Mansfield version of Menayese seems to have appeared - but if you watch us as the opposition you’d just say attack down the right because there will be times in the game where Walsall effectively play without a left back.

There was a time when we started quickly almost every week then faded after an hour or so but what I have noticed is how sluggish we start games last week against Newport and this week against Stevenage.What a way to celebrate a new long term deal after being one of our better performer’s than to score an own goal.How many times do you see things like that happen in football.
Why was Ward in the 6 yard box as their player ran with freedom down the left?
