We still have Kanu don’t we and our form is massively dipping with him. He looks like a good half season manager and then runs out of steam/ideas.

That’ll never do.

How far he’s run is obviously the key stat. Passing the ball to team-mates isn’t “us”.

Result acceptable with 11 changes against higher league opposition.

Hancock having a rocky start. Straw looks amazing again, Richards look good when he actually has it.

I am quickly getting to hate this style we are never an attractive watch but the last few games it has been truly dreadful and tonight we are making Northampton look way better than they are.

Kanu form drops we don’t win. Weird isn’t jt

Lowe leaves we all fall apart weird isn’t it

Sadler isnt good his lucky and other fans are starting to realise what I’ve known from the start

Always been the same, it kills us because we can’t get up the pitch. He doesn’t even attempt to win the ball most times. Pisses me right off.

What worries me is that we have no strategy in the game. If we have ball players, technical midfielders, in the team, then we need to have the ball to get the best out of them.

There’s no point having Rico Richard’s if we play like this. I’m sure he’s quite talented, but he needs us to have the ball. He needs players around him who get the ball to feet and can keep it so that he can ghost in to the gaps.

So why don’t we play in a way that might give us that ball retention? We just get the ball and within max 2 passes, we play a long ball. It’s utterly infuriating and totally ineffective.

There is no plan to get the ball and do something with it - that is on Sadler. That’s literally his number 1 job. Otherwise it’s rudderless tripe.

How the hell have we had 40% of the ball.Is the machine that records it broken?

Oh well, Traitors on at 8.00

We have a massive problem is we lose Roberts - I am having palpitations anytime the ball goes near Hornby (to hands or feet).

Good for a cup game for reserve teams. There will probably be more to come later. Maybe.

All starts from the back line being told to play safe defensive risk free footbal. If I was any team I’d stick a player super high on our back line every single game and we are done as a football team

Hornby looks like the ball will explode if he touches it

I’m sure for that last save, the ball simply hit his glove in error….

I honestly can’t believe what I’m watching for few games now we have been a level below awful, not saying we were ever Brazil but come on we can’t play simple 5 yard pass. Sadler really needs to do something drastic or I can see our season finishing in April this year.

Not sure, but he has had the least amount of touches of the ball out of both teams with 9. Even Richards has had 4 more and I thought he had been anonymous.

Alex will be checking whether the ink is dry on that contract  :writing_hand:

We are pure Tony Pulis. Wont be long before we have 5 centre backs and sack the wingbacks off

As far as longball goes we are the absolute pits at it right now.

Quite happy how it’s going. With my depression issues the last thing I need is another trip to Wembley

But we actually induce risk by the way we play. The ball comes back at us before the defence have had a chance to reset, and quite often we are at 6s and 7s.

Oh and i can’t stand Sadler’s neck-rolling tick. Makes him look really unstable, like a pyscopath just out of Broadmoor. Wasn’t there an episode of Only Fools and Horses where an escapee had an imaginary game of Snooker with Delboy - didn’t he have a tick like that?

What a fantastic half of football that was. Energy. Crisp passing. Pace down the flanks. Movement all over the pitch.

Oh, hang on. Ive got the Chelsea Arsenal game on. My bad
