L 4-2 vs Northampton Town (A) – Wed 14th Jan, 7.00pm (EFL Trophy R3)

With a bit of luck mate.We may get a manager that allows his side to have the ball.

Get what you mean. Just look like we have no connection as a team or how to link play together. All very scrappy and little / next to know control of our game

Should he save it?

No keeper should be beat there imo, maybe im being harsh but he should save that. Its a good hit though

No, I’ve just seen their goal so switched it off.

Hancock and Burke way off the pace as you’d expect and Richard doing him usual vanishing trick

Burke and Hancok looking rusty - perhaps understandable. Straw is gonna be some player.

We just can’t actually play any pleasing football can we? no more than two passes between team players before it’s lost, or hoofed

I’d like to see us try a 442 diamond with a midfielder closer to the strikers to fill the gap

Evans used to get done at his near post a fair bit if I remember correctly.

I think Burke looks a lot more rusty than Hancock. Only minutes can improve this.

It’s hit with some real pace that is mate. Each to their own but I will stick with what I said about it earlier.

We don’t press very well and we can’t play through a press.

I’m actually convinced that all the cameramen at our live tv games are deliberately focusing on Sadlers head wobbling…

It is hit hard but his starting position is good, didn’t get near it. They deserved the goal anyway, only one team playing now.

2 class keepers on display tonight

Our defending at corners is horrendous.

We’re all over the place at the moment.

What do we need here to go through, a win or draw (cant be arsed to look)

Knockout round now.
