Yeah, he could get injured, we have had players have all kinds of injuries when not playing like Mantom falling down a hatch while on holiday. You can’t wrap players up in cotton wool. As you mentioned he has missed friendlies and didn’t play much football the second half of last season.
Besides, we shouldn’t disrespect this cup or the fans who are travelling to watch it.
Make no mistake this would be one of the biggest shocks in recent Caribou Cup history if we were to go there and turn them over. A side two divisions above us who finished far higher up their league than we did and with home advantage. I back us to go up there tonight and give a really good account of ourselves but unless we catch Blackburn on an off day and/or get a bit of lady luck we are ultimately likely to come up a bit short. A win though could really kick start Sadlers reign and give us a huge boost after the disappointment of the weekend.
