L 5-0 vs Milton Keynes Dons (A) - League Two - Fri 29th March, 3pm

Who’s tracking 24??

Well not just a passenger, actively poor with the ball. Not like him.

Again, this is just too passive. Same as McEntee or Comley trying to play as the 8.

My personal opinion is that it isn’t the right tone to be sending out.

I hope we see tierney come on second half to give that other inside pass, or at least be offering.

In fairness the whole team have been passengers since that first 15 mins. Another thing we did frequently in the early part of the season.

Could already hear them walking to the ground.

Nice view. Crap result so far.

Faal and Gordon out worst strike force of all time ?

That’s a bit dramatic :joy:

Half time 1-0 and I’ll take that at this point.Lets be under no illusions these have been excellent at home this season, but I’d have personally liked to have had more of the ball and for one of those two chances to have gone in.

Feel sorry for fans who hone today…

Well we’ve had this conversation many times before. It’s horses for courses. Mk dons very possession based like Notts county, like Salford, where we came to win both times, let’s hope it happens again.

Missing Earing and dare I say Knowles.

Should have been one up, Faal has to score the one on one, but other than that been passed around at ease.

It was good, except for two small moments. One in attack, one in defence and that’s why we are goal behind.

We’re always stronger 2nd half, time for the amazing comeback and the 2-1(to us) win.

I personally thought the keeper stayed up for as long as humanly possible which helped his cause but low and hard probably should have been the order of the day.

We’ve found it hard going against a high quality, superbly drilled MK Dons outfit. Not for the want of trying and we’ve had our moments but they have been just that, moments. Faal was for nd with a superb through ball that split their defence in half, he has to score.

Hopefully an eggciting second period.

Salford City 0 Sutton Utd 1 (45 + 2min) … puts Colchester in the relegation zone

I miss Freddie Draper, anyone else?

I don’t mind it if there’s more forward intent.

Second, for every Notts Co and Salford - there have been a lot more bad performances with this set up.
